Get ready for a New Year’s Eve party to remember as the Irish capital comes alive with music, magical moments and fun-filled activities.

Now in its tenth year, New Year’s Festival Dublin will be bigger and better than ever, with tickets now on sale for six spectacular events set to take place over two days on 31 December 2021 and 1 January 2022.

NYF is a thrilling countdown experience in the heart of Dublin. Filled with great music and dazzling light shows it is the biggest New Year’s Eve celebration on the island of Ireland.

The festival welcomes visitors from all over the world who come to join native Dubliners and Irish visitors who descend upon the capital to ring in the New Year.

The city will be buzzing on New Year’s Eve with three spectacular countdown events at Dublin Castle and St Stephen’s Green South.

Share a magical moment with family and friends at the Family New Year’s Matinee Moment, a very special earlier countdown event in the stunning surroundings of Dublin Castle. This is a free event but tickets will need to be booked in advance.

Or maybe head to the New Year’s Street Party at St Stephen’s Green South with a stellar line up that will rock the city into next year. Enjoy the festivities as the area comes alive and party people from all over come together to mark the New Year in style.

Then head for the spectacular midnight moment with critically acclaimed Irish international phenomenon Picture This. The pop-rock band with a sound all of their own are set to headline this year’s over 18s-only Countdown Concert at Dublin Castle, alongside special guests singer-songwriters Lyra and Ryan Sheridan.

On 1 January, families and friends can continue the celebrations at three very special New Year’s Day events at Dublin Castle and Temple Bar, the cultural heart of Dublin.

Soak up the festive atmosphere at New Year’s Afternoon at the Castle and enjoy entertainment for all the family, including pop-up street performances to keep people of all ages entertained.

Take a walk to Meeting House Square in Temple Bar, where Music In The Square will have live performances from great performers and enjoy the festivities as the square becomes a hive of activity filled with free, family-friendly entertainment.

Or go and see some of Ireland’s finest musicians with family and friends at the New Year’s Day Concert in Dublin Castle, featuring performances from live favourites.
