CRAVING WHITEWATER? OTTAWA VALLEY’S GOT YOUR ADRENALINE FIX

If adrenaline-pumping adventure is your game, don a helmet and wetsuit for some white-water-rodeo. Gear up to ride the class III and IV daredevil sections of the Ottawa River’s Rocher Fendu rapids of Butcher’s Knife, Coliseum and Hell’s Half Mile. Wrestle opponents named Bus Eater and The White Faced Monster. Tackle the steep, five-metre waterfall at Garvin’s Chute in the Middle Channel.

Trips include guided big raft adventures for up to thirteen people, sport rafting for six to eight people, and two-person sport yaks. But if you’re looking for rafting with less heart-pounding excitement, you can also set out on a lazy ½ or full day river float.
